Regional Academy on the United Nations (RAUN) 2026–2027

- Target group: university graduates (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in related fields, who completed their studies within the last 5 years.
- Funding: practical training grants in SOIVRE laboratories with a maximum duration of 2 years. They include specialised training, financial support (up to €21,600 per year), and registration in the general Social Security system.
- Application deadline: 20 working days from the publication of each call in the BOE.

Tabaca Film Fest, Mythological Film Festival of the Pyrenees
Tabaca Film Fest offers opportunities for both educators and film students. On the one hand, it includes the Farrera Grant (open until 12 August 2026), which supports the development of short films with mythological themes through a creative residency at the Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera and mentoring sessions with the Pauné sisters.
On the other hand, the festival has launched an open call for short films (until 29 May 2026), with a maximum duration of 30 minutes and in various formats, exploring mythology in its broadest sense.
The festival will take place from 18 to 27 September 2026 in Gerri de la Sal (Pallars Sobirà, Catalonia) and will award over €4,000 in prizes.

APDCAT Scholarships
They offer the opportunity to complete your training in the field of data protection and, above all, to gain practical experience through a ten-month placement at the Catalan Data Protection Authority.
They are aimed at graduates in Law or Computer Engineering, or equivalent degrees.

Digital Skills Training Programme for Professionals
This is a digital skills training programme aimed at professionals, developed by Unión Profesional. It is part of the Generación D Initiative and has been promoted in collaboration with Red.es, a public body affiliated with the Spanish Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service. At this link, you can consult the 19 participating organisations. To take part in the programme, participants must hold a qualification that allows them to register with one of the Professional Associations included in the list.
Collaboration Grants to Carry Out Studies and Projects at ISPC
The Institut de Seguretat Pública de Catalunya has announced collaboration grants in various areas: training, documentation, dissemination, research, evaluation, economics, infrastructure, and procurement. Applications can be submitted until April 20 via the following link.
ICEX Scholarships - They offer you the opportunity to complete your training in international business management and, above all, to gain practical experience beyond our borders, selecting only 10% from more than 2,000 multilingual applicants with a university education to specialize in international trade. Partial tuition scholarship for the Master’s in Strategy, Creativity and Digital Marketing at UAB. The scholarship offers a 75% discount, which means that the student will only have to cover 25% of the total cost. If you’re interested, you can write to the following email address: master.ecd@uab.cat, and they will provide you with more details. Remember that you can submit your application during the summer months (July and August), as the next selection phase will begin in September.
National Research Awards 2026
- Target audience: researchers, early-career researchers, universities, research centres, companies, foundations and other stakeholders in the Catalan research and innovation system.

The Pica d’Estats Award, created in 1990 by the Tourism Board of the Provincial Council of Lleida, recognizes and promotes travel journalism that showcases the attractions of the Pyrenees and the lands of Lleida. 16th Pilar Casanova Corporate Communication Awards
The Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya has opened the call for its annual awards, which recognise the work of communication departments and their professionals. The initiative aims to promote the efforts of the public and private sectors to ensure access to truthful and useful information, taking as a reference the Criteria for Good Professional Practice developed by the College’s Corporate Communication Working Group, based on the Code of Ethics for Journalists. 2nd Peace Journalism Awards in Catalonia
The Working Group on Peace Journalism of the College of Journalists of Catalonia has opened the call for entries for the second edition of the Peace Journalism Awards, which recognize the best journalistic practices in accordance with the criteria set out in Annex D of the Code of Ethics. The initiative is supported by the Catalan Information Council (CIC).
Caixa Enginyers Foundation Awards – Isabel P. Trabal
These awards aim to support startups and early-stage projects that develop solutions aligned with the Foundation’s areas of focus: social and cooperative economy, health and financial literacy, and engineering applied to social development.
Categories
- Ideas: individuals over 18 years of age, legal entities, or teams with early-stage projects.
- Entrepreneurship / Startups: legal entities established from 1 January 2021 onwards, with a maximum of 50 employees and up to €10 million in annual turnover.
Awards
- Entrepreneurship category: 3 awards of €15,000.
- Ideas category: 3 awards of €2,000.
In addition, the 10 preselected initiatives in each category will gain access to training, mentoring and visibility, valued at over €400.
