Expert in Analysis of Armed Conflicts and Peacebuilding

The Expert Diploma in Analysis of Armed Conflicts and Peacebuilding includes a program focused on the critical analysis of armed conflicts [and other contemporary forms of violence], as well as on understanding their structural causes and social dynamics. At the same time, the Diploma aims to contribute to the design and implementation of political and social strategies for peacebuilding, promoting dialogue, mediation, and negotiation in conflict contexts, with a gender perspective and an ecosocial perspective.

Career opportunities

Course aimed at training professionals in education (teachers, leisure education, informal education) and the community sphere (community work associations and entities, municipal community service services), in key concepts and strategies for educating for peace and global justice, through caring for coexistence, constructive conflict transformation and community participation and in social projects.

Course aimed at training professionals, journalists, social communicators, politicians, technicians of NGOs and intergovernmental organizations, activists, human rights defenders and all those people interested in understanding the international situation with a view to peace and contributing to the construction of peace.

Internships

UAB masters and graduate diplomas may include or facilitate external academic internships in companies or institutions in order to help the student to achieve a level of expertise that facilitates the insertion or promotion in the workplace.

For this study programme non-curricular (optional) internships are possible:

• Non-curricular
