The master's degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation is focused on neurorehabilitation, a process aimed at restoring, minimising and/or compensating functional deficits in people suffering from severe disabilities due to lesions in the central nervous system. Neuropsychological rehabilitation forms part of an integral treatment and is applied together with other functional rehabilitation programmes.
Neuropsychological rehabilitation is an active process which helps both patients and families to optimise superior cognitive functions, to understand better the alterations and to develop strategies which can compensate these disorders.
