The new Master in Philosophy of Care offers the possibility of exploring, developing and engaging in the practice of care and its theoretical foundations beyond the framework of Health Studies and Law and with an applied, specific and positioned perspective that addresses the challenges of the present.
If you have a Degree in the field of Arts and Humanities or related fields and you are looking for applied, dynamic and innovative training committed to the needs of today's world, the Master in Philosophy of Care offers you a unique opportunity.
The online modality allows you to learn at your own pace wherever you are and whatever your work commitments. You will receive the support of the teaching team of the UAB Department of Philosophy, specialised in the contents taught and trained in online teaching methodology.
You will become qualified to carry out research tasks and also tasks with the potential for making changes. The programme is aimed at professionals who want to apply a perspective of care in the field of health, biomedicine, nursing, ecology, art, politics, sociology, education, public policies or offer advice for private initiatives.
We transfer the methodology of normative and descriptive analysis typical of philosophy to the field of real professional practice based on an open dialogue between the sciences and humanities. This is a Master's degree with a clear cross-curricular and interdisciplinary vocation that may be of interest not only to graduates in philosophy, but also to graduates from other areas.
We invite you to experience a collaborative learning environment based on critical reflection that will not only enrich your professional career, but also contribute to a more equitable, supportive and inclusive society.
