Humans today live in a world that is very diverse and is filled with inequalities which have an impact on our health. As a nurse, you have surely come across situations of inequality which have been difficult to manage.
Why do these situations exist? What consequences do these inequalities have? How can I best care for the vulnerable parts of the population? This master's degree will guide you through critical-reflexive analyses based on scientific evidence of the situations that cause people to find themselves in vulnerable positions, with the use of innovative methodologies. Upon completing the master's degree, you will have gained the knowledge, skills and aptitudes needed to understand and efficiently and innovatively care for those belonging to the most vulnerable populations.
The main advantages in enrolling in this master's degree at the UAB are the blended learning modality which permits you to combine academic and professional life, as well as the possibility to go on to a PhD programme. Moreover, the lecturing staff is made up of interdisciplinary professionals with years of experience researching in this field and in innovation processes.
Career options
The master's degree “is of interest” in all practical areas of professional nursing. The master's degree also enables you to continue on to a PhD programme and thus begin an academic career.
