Ideal student profile

This master's degree is aimed at students interested in specialising in the field of air transport management. Therefore, it is ideally suited to those with a bachelor's degree or equivalent in: engineering, economics, business administration or law. This degree is also suited to professionals working in the aeronautical sector who are qualified to join a university master's programme.

It is necessary to have reached level B1 or above in English on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

  • Identify and understand the different national and international air transport systems, their key factors and their role in achieving safe, efficient air transport.
  • Efficiently apply quantitative methods and techniques to optimise a logistical system. Take the main factors determining airport operations into account in management.
  • Understand the main factors affecting the operations of a commercial airline, so as to deal appropriately with these in management.
  • Execute a simulation project to improve performance indicators for airport processes.
  • Apply the principles and techniques of lean management to innovation and improvement in the performance of aeronautical industry processes.
  • Analyse the influence of the main management procedures and techniques in aeronautical maintenance on the management of airlines.
