Admission Official Master's Degree in Terrestrial Ecology and Biodiversity Management
AccessAccess to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.
Admission requirementsAdmission requirements are as follows:
Hold an official bachelor’s degree or pre-EHEA degree in Biology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Sciences, Forest Engineering or Agronomist.
Graduates and pre-EHEA graduates in Marine Sciences, Veterinary Science and other similar degree courses in the area of Engineering, Sciences or Biosciences and European graduates and graduates from other countries with comparable studies may also be admitted on the master’s degree
Selection criteriaShould the number of applicants be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated according to the following criteria (in order of importance):
- Academic transcript (50%)
- Professional experience related to the subject area of this master's degree (30%)
- Certificate of level of English (20%)
Complementary trainingBridging courses may need to be taken and passed by students with degrees in Marine Sciences, Veterinary Medicine or other subjects in the fields of Engineering, Sciences or Biosciences, depending on the actual content of these degree courses.
The Master's Committee will examine students' previous studies and determine whether bridging courses need to be taken or not.
The bridging courses that may be required are:
- Animal Biology (Zoology), 6 ECTS
- Plant Biology (Botany), 6 ECTS
- Ecology, 6 ECTS
