Official Master's Degree in School Library and Reading Promotion
AccessAccess to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.
Admission requirementsAdmission requirements are as follows: Preferably a diploma or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Social Education, Educational Psychology, Education Studies, Librarianship and documentation, or in Humanities. Access is also open to graduates in other subjects, provided that their academic or professional background has some affinity with the contents of this master's degree.
Should the number of applicants be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated according to the following criteria:
- Student record. (35%)
- Certificates of courses taken on education or on librarianship and documentation. (25%)
- Documentary proof of teaching experience outside higher education, in public libraries or in reading promotion within public or recognised private bodies. (25%)
- Personal interview regarding motivation and attitudes. (15%)
