Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration and Management (preferred criterion) or another bachelor's degree in the field of Economics or Business. Also bachelor's degrees in Physics, Mathematics, or Civil or Industrial 
  • Official certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or Cambridge English FCE, CAE or CPE) of proficiency in English with a score equivalent to or higher than level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​of the Council of Europe

Selection criteria

The admissions committee will be the admissions body for the master's degree. The committee is made up of three people: the master's coordinator, the deputy coordinator and a faculty member of the master program.

The MEBA is characterized by its analytical and quantitative approach, including applied mathematical theories and statistical methods for data analysis. For this reason, it will be especially valued if candidates have taken and passed during their degree studies subjects that allow them to have acquired a solid foundation in statistics, calculus and linear algebra.

In the event that the number of applicants is greater than the number of places offered, the following will be considered in the selection process:

  • Grade point average (GPA) of the academic record [40%]
  • University-level knowledge of quantitative and analytical methods (grades from the academic record of subjects related to quantitative and analytical methods will be taken into account) [25%]
  • Score corresponding to the 80th percentile, or higher, on the GMAT (Focus Edition) or GRE (General Test) [25%]
  • English level C1 or higher. [5%]
  • Two references from university professors who can assess the applicant's academic potential, sent directly to the selection committee by the professors themselves [5%]
