Admission Official Master's Degree in Plant Biology, Genomics and Biotechnology

Access

Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.

Admission requirements

Graduates in the fields of Biology, Environmental Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Agricultural and/or Forest Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology or equivalent qualifications.

Knowledge of English (at least level B2 of the CEFR). In the event of not having documentary proof, students can request a comprehension and expression test from the master’s committee in Plant Biology, Genomics and Biotechnology. 

Selection criteria

If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, places will be awarded in accordance with the following criteria:

  • Academic record (max. 3 points)
  • CV indicating professional/research experience related to the area of the master’s degree (max. 1.5 points)
  • Proof of at least level B2 in English (max. 0.5 points)
  • Letter of motivation (max. 1 point)
