Admission Official Master's Degree in Geoinformation
Access
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
The requirements for admission are the following:- Students must hold an undergraduate degree, diploma, Technical Engineering or degree in Engineering, Technical Engineering or degree in Architecture, or a degree in one of the subjects related to land management (Geography, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Ecology, Biology, Topography, Geodesy, Architecture, Urban Planning, Agronomics, Public Works, Mountain Engineering), Information Technologies (Computer Sciences, Telecommunications) and other similar qualifications, which the coordinators of the master’s programme judge will guarantee that the student will be able to follow successfully the modules taught on the master’s degree.
- In order to follow the master’s degree successfully we recommend that students should have at least level B1 (in accordance with the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages) in each of the languages in which the master’s degree is taught.
Selection criteria
Should the number of applicants exceed the places on offer, places will be allocated in accordance with the following criteria of priority:1. Academic file (75 %)
2. Professional experience related to the area of the master’s degree (10 %), accredited by one of the following options:
a) Employment in jobs that include the use of geoinformation technologies (years)
b) Participation in research projects (years)
c) Research grant (years)
d) Publication of articles / papers at congresses (number)
e) Post-graduate courses undertaken on geoinformation technologies (hours)
4. Level of knowledge of English equal to or higher than level B1 (5 %)
