Access to this master's degree is open to holders of an official bachelor's degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.Admission requirements
The specific admission requirements are as follows:
To access the program, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in fields related to Biosciences or Biomedicine.
Additionally, applicants must demonstrate basic knowledge of Catalan (B1 level) or Spanish (B1 level) (only for students whose mother tongue is not Catalan or Spanish). If the student cannot provide proof of language proficiency, the Master’s Committee will conduct an interview and decide on the admission or exclusion of the candidate.
Selection criteria
If the number of applicants exceeds the available places, admission will be granted according to the following priority criteria:
• Academic record (60%)
The candidate’s specific academic grade will be considered and scaled to represent 60% of the final evaluation.
For studies completed abroad, it will be mandatory to submit an official grade equivalence certificate, which can be generated by the candidate through the website of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities.
• Curriculum Vitae activities (20%)
Scientific or professional activities related to the master’s field will be assessed.
• Relevance of academic record and CV (10%)
The suitability of the candidate’s academic record and CV to the master’s objectives and content will be evaluated.
• Motivation letter (10%)
