Yesterday, the UAB Social Sciences Library hosted the conference “Relevance and Contemporary Significance of Kafka’s Thought in Criminal Law”, held in the context of the centenary of the publication of The Trial.

The event provided an opportunity to approach law from a humanistic perspective, inspired by Kafka’s writings, and to reflect on how literature can help us understand the challenges of today’s legal and social landscape.

We would like to thank the speakers for their participation:

  • Gonzalo Quintero Olivares, Professor of Criminal Law at URV
  • Fermín Morales Prats, Professor of Criminal Law at UAB

And the moderation by Marta Civil, journalist from the Library Services.
