The DIGIDRET group coordinates the inter-institutional conferences on digitalisation, business and law
On May 16 and 17, 2024, the conference “Digitalització, Empresa i Dret” will be held. The conference, organized by the investigation group of the Faculty of Law of the UAB, DIGIDRET, will take place at the Casa Convalescència (Calle Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 171 - 4, 08025, Barcelona).

The purpose of this conference is to address digitalization and data in relation to business and law. Data is a storable unit of information from which new knowledge is constructed. Nowadays, its processing through various technologies has had an impact on the company in two areas: its internal organization and its relations with third parties. This leads to legal problems that have become a field of research and debate. With the collaboration of representatives of the company, the legal profession, the notary's office, the land registry and the university, these Conferences aim to offer the reflections of each institution on possible conflicts in the aforementioned areas.
