The Faculty of Law hosted a seminar with Professor Ulf Sverdrup (Norwegian Business School), dedicated to examining the new challenges of European economic security in a changing geopolitical environment.

On 7 November 2025, the Sala de Graus of the Faculty of Law at the UAB hosted the seminar European Economic Security and the New Geopolitics, delivered by Professor Ulf Sverdrup (Norwegian Business School), a recognized specialist in European politics and international governance.
The session addressed the main challenges facing the European Union in the field of economic security within a global context marked by new geopolitical dynamics, technological transformations, and tensions in the international order. The activity fostered a space for discussion between the expert and the students of the Master’s Degree in European Integration, as well as other members of the academic community.
This seminar is part of the activities organized by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EUGLOB and the UAB Institute of European Studies.
