Opening Session of the Criminology Degree 2025-2026

The Faculty of Law will open the 2025-2026 academic year of the Criminology Degree with an inaugural session led by Daniel Varona Gómez, focusing on the study of sexual offences in Spain.

On Thursday, October 23rd, at 12:00 p.m., Professor Daniel Varona Gómez, Chair of Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of Girona, will deliver the inaugural lecture for the 2025-2026 Criminology Degree, titled “A Criminological Agenda for the Study of Sexual Offences in Spain”.

The event will take place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law and will be a great opportunity to gather as an academic community and wish everyone a successful start to the new academic year.
