Apply for admission to the programme
The admission process serves to ensure that all students meet the programme's requirements and thus guarantee an optimal work environment during the course. To apply for admission, you must apply online. Remember that you will need to upload the required documents.
In the event of seats remaining once the final date of application is expired, the direction may prolongue it.

The application interface will ask you to specify the study type (master's degree, diploma or specialisation coruse) and the codes of study and edition of the programme to which you want to enroll. Data from this program are: Study: 5382 and Edition: 1
To fulfill the application you need a NIU (UAB's University Identification Number). Choose the appropriate option for your case:
- Application with NIU: if you are a UAB student and remember your NIU and password:

Required documentation
- DNI, NIE, TIE (double-sided scanning) or valid passport
- A brief CV.
- A document certifying your university qualification or current stage of study (MIR, PIR, PhD or equivalent).
- A brief letter of motivation or description of your interest in the course and translational research in mental health.
Access requirements
Hold an official university degree in the field of health sciences or related disciplines (Medicine, Psychology, Nursing, Biology, Biomedicine, Neuroscience or similar).
Healthcare professionals currently undertaking specialist training (MIR, PIR or equivalent) may also apply.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates with an interest in clinical and translational research in mental health.
A basic understanding of scientific methodology and the ability to critically evaluate biomedical literature are recommended.
No specific prior knowledge of biomarkers or precision psychiatry is required.
Selection criteria
Should the number of applications exceed the number of places available, students will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Academic background and suitability of the professional profile for the field of mental health and biomedical research.
- Interest in and motivation for translational research and biomarkers in mental health.
- Previous experience in clinical, biomedical or translational research.
- Participation in specialist healthcare training programmes (MIR, PIR or equivalent).
- Involvement in academic, research or doctoral activities related to mental health, neurosciences or precision psychiatry.
- Order of pre-registration, in the event of equal merit.
