Radio Sound Archive in Catalonia

The Radio Sound Archive in Catalonia brings together a selection of Catalan and Spanish radio stations that have broadcast on the radio bands in Catalonia, as well as Catalan stations that distribute their content online.

The Archive contains more than 12,000 audio clips dating from 1924 to the present day. These recordings come from collections belonging to radio enthusiasts, loyal listeners, media professionals, and contributions from broadcasters. The Archive is an open project that welcomes collaboration from the public.

This initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Institute of Communication (InCom-UAB)) and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives of the UAB. It forms part of the digital project of the Communication Observatory in Catalonia (OCC InCom-UAB).
