CommunicationThe call for applications is now open for the PhD Student Session of the CLARIN Annual Conference 2026, which will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 in Brighton (United Kingdom).
CLARIAH-ES invites PhD students to participate in this session, which will be held in a poster format. This session provides an opportunity for doctoral candidates to present their research projects (PhD theses) to the CLARIN community.
Requirements and submission
Interested applicants must complete the relevant form, including:
- The candidate’s details
- An abstract of the thesis in English (maximum 500 words)
Abstracts should clearly explain:
- How the doctoral research makes use of the CLARIN infrastructure, or
- How its results may contribute to CLARIN
Deadline
- Submission deadline: 15 May 2026
Evaluation and notification
Applications will be evaluated by a three-member committee appointed by CLARIAH-ES.Applicants will be notified of the outcome in mid-June 2026.
We encourage all PhD students to submit their proposals.
