The Faculty of Communication Sciences celebrates the graduation of the university master's degrees 2025/26

On Tuesday, 14 July, the UAB Faculty of Communication Sciences hosted the graduation ceremony for the 2025/26 cohort of its university master's programmes. The event celebrated the students' hard work and achievements in a ceremony marked by recognition and shared moments of emotion.

Graduation ceremony for master's degrees 2025-2026

The ceremony began at 5:00 p.m. with welcoming remarks by the Vice-Dean for Students, Mobility and International Projection, Dr Ileana Zeler, who introduced the Dean of the Faculty, Dr Juan José Perona. In their speeches, both highlighted the students' commitment, dedication and academic journey throughout their master's studies, as well as their contribution to the academic community.

The ceremony continued with speeches by the coordinators of the different master's programmes, who reflected on the academic year and recognised the students' hard work and commitment. Dr Carmina Crusafon, coordinator of the Master's Degree in Journalism and Innovation in Digital Content, congratulated the graduates and invited class representatives Lucía Benito and Alessandro Angelo Comunian to address the audience.

Next, Dr Cristina Martorell, coordinator of the Master's Degree in Strategic Planning in Advertising and Public Relations, gave a speech before inviting graduates Noa González and Isabella Quiroz to share a few words. This was followed by Dr Maria Corominas, coordinator of the Master's Degree in Media, Communication and Culture, who addressed the audience before inviting graduate Gabriela Camargo to speak. Finally, Dr Amparo Huertas, coordinator of the Master's Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising Content, concluded this section of the ceremony by welcoming graduates Mar Medina and Paola Marzano to the stage.

At 6:30 p.m., the traditional calling of graduates took place, one of the most anticipated and emotional moments of the event, as students received their diplomas in the presence of their families, friends and faculty members. The ceremony concluded with the Dean's closing remarks and the performance of the Gaudeamus igitur. To bring the celebration to a close, attendees gathered for a toast in the Academic Square, sharing good wishes for the future in a warm and festive atmosphere.

The Faculty of Communication Sciences congratulates all its new graduates on this important achievement and wishes them every success, both personally and professionally, in the new stage that lies ahead.
