Students of the faculty, awarded with the Arcadi Oliveres Awards

Within the framework of the “Talent Day with social impact”, organized by the Fundació Autònoma Solidària and the UAB Service Learning Office, with the support of the Barcelona City Council, next Tuesday, April 28, the 9th edition of the Arcadi Oliveres Awards will take place as well as the 7th Conference of the TFG Awards with Service Learning methodology (ApS).

In this edition, 31 Final Degree Projects Arcadi Oliveres and 10 Final Degree Projects in the ApS modality, from various areas of knowledge of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, have been recognized. These awards value the students who have dedicated their Final Degree Project during the 2024-2025 academic year, to develop research oriented to global justice or based on the Service Learning methodology.

From the Faculty of Communication Sciences, we would like to congratulate the students of two of the Final Degree Projects awarded in the Arcadi Oliveres Award belonging to the faculty for their commitment and talent regarding social justice. These are the students Andrea Mendieta Sanchez and Núria Mir Dorn of the degree in Organization Communication are awarded for their TFG Communication for NGOs: Creation of a global communication strategy for Caritas Marroc with the mentoring of Amparo Huertas Bailén. I Ada Solà Conesa, from the Degree in Journalism, for the TFG The fight of war correspondents against gender inequalities, tutored by Santiago Tejedor Calvo.

The awards ceremony, in which the winners will be revealed, will take place on Tuesday, April 28, from 10 am, in the UAB Cinema Hall.
