The student of the degree in Journalism Elisenda Forés, specialized in communication of the ecological crisis, was the guest lecturer. With a brilliant career for his youth, Forés has worked on the addition to the Code of Ethics of the College of Journalists for the treatment of climate issues.

Amparo Huertas, from the dep. On Audiovisual Communication, he has been a member of the organizing committee, and he also took part in the Second Meeting of Communication Journals, together with Santiago Tejedor, of the dep. Journalism. Likewise, researchers Ludovico Longhi, Iliana Ferrer, Marta Narberhaus and Daniel Arrébola presented "From chronicle to historiography: first histories of cinema in Spain (1920–1950)", in which they analyze the evolution from informative and militant texts to the consolidation of an academic historiography. The study pays special attention to figures such as María Luz Morales and addresses the pedagogical, ideological and cultural function of cinema in the Spanish context of the interwar and post-war period. Iliana Ferrer explained the international challenge learning project El Centro, where the SDGs are worked on from the communication.

On the side of the dep. Carme Ferré-Pavia gave presentations on CC media, with two of them focused on the narratives of climate change. On the one hand, in co-authorship with Alejandra Nieto-Sandoval, "Allò viral no basta: comunicació del canvi clima a les xarxes i percep juvenil, una bretxa narrativa", where she explains the results of Nieto's doctoral thesis, with the analysis of TikTok's videos at climate summits and the discussion groups made with young people from climate-treated territories, such as Valencia després de la dana or Amposta, in the Ebro Delta. On the other hand, he has presented the YEN funded project, YouthEcoNararratives, from the Comress group, also with young people to empower them in effective narratives on climate crisis issues.

She is also tutoring Natàlia Fontanet, who explained her TFG on the prescribers of literature in Catalan on the networks with complete solvency.

In a study on the image of the Catalan language, teachers from various departments participated: Aida Martori (Media), Estrella Barrio (Publicity) and Josep Àngel Guimerà (CAP). Finally, the presence of other alumni, both undergraduate and doctoral, was remarkable, because Núria Ferran-Ferrer, Josep M. Soro, Ximo Blasco, Pedro Henrique Bragança and others contributed. Our Faculty can say that it has been turned into this IX edition of the International Communication Congress of the Institute of Catalan Studies.
