Library collection
The bibliographic collections and special collections available in the Faculty of Communication Sciences and the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives include the specialized collections of political posters Documentary Center of Communication (CEDOC), the Joaquim Romaguera Collection, the Daniel Jones collection and the faculty's own productions among others. These collections cover topics such as history of communication, cinema, and teaching and research materials.

José Mallorquí (Barcelona, 1913-Madrid, 1972), writer and screenwriter. He wrote numerous novels and short stories that covered other genres, such as science fiction and the crime novel. He also worked in the world of radio where Mallorquí was a scriptwriter of radio serials.

Daniel Jones Collection This link opens a new window
Daniel Esteban Jones (1951-2007) was a researcher and professor at the Faculty. The documentary collection consists of 5,400 books and 358 magazine collections, as well as a considerable number of thematic dossiers. It also includes a relevant selection of old documents, dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
