GEDIME Seminar "A Look at Immigration and Border Policies in the Trump Era"

The event will be held on June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the MRA Meeting Room, located in the building across from the Humanities Library (Knowledge Plaza) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Participating will be researchers Dr. Roxana Rodríguez (Autonomous University of Mexico City) and Dr. Luciana Gandini (National Autonomous University of Mexico), who will present advances in their research on migration. The panel discussions will be led by Dr. Sònia Parella (CER-Migracions, UAB) and Dr. Romina Ramos (University of Tarapacá, Chile).

This seminar seeks to open a space for dialogue around migration and border policies, as well as their impacts in different contexts.Below, we share the planned organization for the event:
