Ganesh Rathinavel

Next week Tuesday the 12th of May by 11:30h Mr. Ganesh Rathinavel, from The Mathworks, Netherlands will give a workshop on tools for microelectronics and semiconductors with the following agenda:

  • Overview of System modeling of Mixed-Signal Designs in R2026a
  • Modeling approaches/options for integrating RF+Analog
  • Integration with electronic design automation tools like Cadence, Synopsys
  • Overview of SerDes workflow for high-speed links
  • Generation of IBIS-AMI models in SerDes Toolbox
  • Prelayout simulations in Signal Integrity (SI) Toolbox
  • Postlayout simulations using RF PCB Toolbox
  • Advanced use cases using Mixed-Signal/SerDes workflow

Short Bio: Ganesh Rathinavel is a Principal Application Engineer at MathWorks specializing in the Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Design, within the EMEA region. He works from the Dutch office in Eindhoven and is responsible for increasing adoption of MathWorks tools in the AMS and Signal Integrity domain. Before joining MathWorks in October 2018, he worked as a R&D Engineer at Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC) & at STMicroelectronics, where he developed Mixed-Signal systems for NFC/RFID tags, Display drivers and Sensor Readouts. He holds two master’s degrees in Semiconductor Engineering and Physics respectively, during which he specialized in Analog Design and System modeling.
