Application process

Nominations

Before submitting the online application, the home university must send us a list with the names of the students selected to come to the UAB before the above dates, detailed at the following e-mail address:

Erasmus +:  erasmus@uab.cat

UAB Exchange Programme: uab.exchange.programme@uab.cat 

This list must contain the following information:

  • Name of the sending institution
  • Full name of the student
  • Student's e-mail address
  • Field of study (if possible, please indicate the Erasmus area code specified in our bilateral agreement)
  • Period of stay (1st term, 2nd term, full academic year)

Please note that no application sent without prior notification from the student's home university will be considered.

Application periods

The UAB has an online application form that will be available on the website http://sia.uab.cat/ in the following terms:

Erasmus Programme

  • From 1 May to 15 June, for students who wish to begin their exchange stay in September.
  • From 1 November to 10 December, for students who wish to begin their exchange stay in February.

UAB Exchange Programme

  • From 1 March to 15 May, for students who wish to begin their exchange stay in September.
  • From 1 October to 15 November, for students who wish to begin their exchange stay in February.

VERY IMPORTANT: The application form will only be available during the periods detailed above. After these periods, students will not be able to submit their application.

Accepted students will receive a letter of acceptance and a document with useful information for their future stay at the UAB by email. Once you have received confirmation of acceptance, you must send the Learning Agreement to the Exchange Office of the Faculty where you have been accepted.
