Application process
Nominations
Before submitting the online application, your home university must send us a list of the students selected to come to UAB. This list must be sent before the deadlines indicated to the following email addresses:
- Erasmus+: erasmus@uab.cat
- UAB Exchange Programme: uab.exchange.programme@uab.cat
The list must include:
- Name of the home university
- Full name of the student
- Student’s email address
- Field of study (if possible, include the Erasmus area code from the bilateral agreement)
- Period of stay (first semester, second semester, or full academic year)
Important: Applications will not be accepted if the university has not sent this list beforehand.
Application Deadlines
UAB has an online application form available at http://sia.uab.cat/ only during the following periods:
Erasmus Programme
- May 1 to June 15 → for students starting in September
- November 1 to December 10 → for students starting in February
UAB Exchange Programme
- March 1 to May 15 → for students starting in September
- October 1 to November 15 → for students starting in February
VERY IMPORTANT: The application form will only be available during these periods. After the deadlines, you will not be able to submit your application.
After Being Accepted
If your application is accepted, you will receive by email:
- An acceptance letter
- A document with useful information for your stay at UAB
Once you receive confirmation, you must send your Learning Agreement to the Exchange Office of the Faculty where you have been accepted.
