  • Attendance certificate awarded for a minimum of 75% class attendance.

Semi-virtual classes. 20 hours classroom-based and 30 hours autonomous learning. Academic English is a course aimed at developing basic academic communication skills in English.

Credit recognition 
Recognition for up to 12 ECTS credits.

Successful completion of Level 5 at the UAB Language Service (B2.2 of the CEFR) or equivalent for Academic English.
Certificate demonstrating a pass in the previous level (or results of a level test) for preparation courses for exams. It is recommended to have already effectively acquired certain aspects of course content, which will be approached in a revision-based manner and as preparation for the exam  
Age over 18. 
It is not necessary to be a member of the UAB community.

* The total amount is the price of the course plus administrative management fees (€40).

Second enrolments and subsequent registrations have a bonus of €40.

You can pay for the course in instalments until the end of the calendar year or request a loan from collaborating financial institutions.

Please note: The Language Service will be closed from 01/08/2021 to 29/08/2021, both days inclusive.

To enrol on a language-level course at UAB Idiomes Campus you need to show a certificate to confirm you have passed the previous level or else take a level test

Level 5 (B2): level 4
Level 7 (C1): level 5

Level required for Academic English: level 5

Opening hours for the enrolment period (September, October, January, February, May and June): Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Opening hours outside the enrolment period (November, December, March, April and July): Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

UAB Idiomes reserves the right to cancel a group if a minimum number of students has not enrolled.





UAB Idiomes offers you the following facilities and discounts for enrolment:

UAB Idiomes Campus

15% discount on the less/least expensive course fee if you study more than one language.
15% discount for single-parent families.
15 % discount for victims of gender-based violence or terrorism.
15% discount for officially recognised “large families” (currently, three or more children).
 15% discount for those who have presented accreditation of their economic situation with a view to paying fees as a grant holder and who fulfil the requirements.  

Attention important:

1. The discounts are non-cumulative.
2. The proof of the discount requested must be provided at the time of enrollment or within 10 calendar days after the enrollment.
