Event details

We will reflect on the capacity - and influence - of the new concept of heritage based on the notion of connections, which has taken shape in the first two decades of the 21st century, under the framework of the United Nation's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. We will also analyse the possible connections between heritage education and some of these Sustainable Development Goals with the aim of setting down the objectives which must be reached by 2030. Finally, we will propose a research project focused on some of the SDGs.

The conference will be given by Olaia Fontal, who holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country, and a BA in Art History and PhD in Education from the University of Oviedo.

The conference is open to the general public and will also be streamed live here

This video conference forms part of a series of conferences organised by the University master's degree in Digital Humanities and Heritage, offered jointly by the UAB and the UPF.
