The Collection of the Historical Archive of the Societat del Gran Teatre del Liceu comprises an extensive and rich documentary corpus, enabling us to trace the theatre’s activities step by step, from 1837 to the present day. It includes everything from the history of the Societat that promoted its construction, to the daily operations of the theatre, as well as a wide range of technical and scenographic documents, musical and artistic materials, and administrative records from various managers over the years.
