Contents
The program is structured around two thematic axes: pathology and assessment and intervention contextualized to different work environments. The content blocks will be as follows:
- Development in early childhood; physiological foundations, maturation process, and possible alterations.
- Nervous system pathologies in the pediatric population.
- Other prevalent pathologies in the pediatric population.
- Assessment tools in pediatric physiotherapy.
- Evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- The role of the pediatric physiotherapist in different work settings.
The subjects will include an intrinsic evaluation of the acquired knowledge and another part consisting of a total of 4 modules (two per subject) aimed at presenting, reasoning, assessing, and intervening in a clinical case that will be presented in the final seminar.

- KT02: Distinguish indicators of anomalies in the child's functioning.
- KT03: Recognize the main pathologies that affect the child's function.
- KT04: Describe the physiotherapists role in different work settings.
- ST01: Use communication appropriately when working with children and their families.
- ST02: Identify relevant parameters and information in the child's assessment process.
- ST03: Plan an intervention suitable for the child's profile and pathology.
- ST04: Select appropriate technical aids for the child's difficulties.
- CT01: Select evaluation procedures in pediatric physiotherapy with proven validity and reliability.
- CT02: Plan the most efficient pediatric physiotherapy intervention; monitor and assess responses using scientific evidence.
- CT03: Systematize the Physiotherapy Intervention Plan according to the principle of user individuality, using specific therapeutic tools of Pediatric Physiotherapy.
- CT04: Compile knowledge about the child's development, learning, and movement control, as well as the most common childhood pathologies.
