Apply for admission to the programme
The admission process serves to ensure that all students meet the programme's requirements and thus guarantee an optimal work environment during the course. To apply for admission, you must follow the application procedure explained in this page. You can apply online or on site, and in both cases you will need to provide the required documentation.In the event of seats remaining once the final date of application is expired, the coordination may prolongue it.

To fulfill the application you need a NIU (UAB's University Identification Number). Choose the appropriate option for your case:

Access requirements
Graduates or degree holders in Food Science and Technology, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Engineering, Animal Science and Health, and Law.
Graduates in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Prevention and Integrated Safety, Tourism and Hospitality, or equivalent qualifications to those mentioned above may also be admitted. For these students, the coordination of the master's programme or diploma courses will review their academic records to assess their suitability.
For the admission of students without a university degree, but with profiles that have extensive professional experience and/or a strong connection with the labour market:
It will be necessary to demonstrate professional experience in the field, with a minimum of 3 years performing tasks related to food safety, such as: technical managers of agri-food companies, technical managers in public administrations, certifiers of quality and food safety systems, auditors of quality and food safety systems, consultants in quality and food safety systems, managers of agri-food distribution chains, advisors on the implementation of food safety management systems in the industry, scientific and technical advisors, and trainers of professionals in the agri-food sector, or other professions that can demonstrate professional competencies related to the discipline of the diploma.
The application may be submitted by means of a motivation letter addressed to the Programme Coordination, accompanied by one of the following options:
-Employment contract or company certificate stating the years worked and the tasks performed.
-Employment history record of the interested person.
-Curriculum vitae including the student's merits: professional experience in the field of study, publications, possible stays abroad, and scholarships and grants obtained.
Notice of admission
The admission resolution will be sent to the e-mail address you specify when you fill the application. In this e-mail you will receive detailed information of the enrolment procedure.
