Veterinary professionals and municipal technicians play a key role in the protection and welfare of animals, especially in an increasingly demanding legal context. This course addresses the new obligations arising from Spanish Law 7/2023 and offers specialized, practical training to act with objective criteria in the management and control of zoological facilities.

The course aims to provide the necessary tools to correctly apply animal protection regulations, develop Hygiene and Prophylaxis Programs (HPP) tailored to each type of facility, assess animal welfare using scientific indicators, monitor traceability to prevent illegal trade, and respond effectively to inspections and incidents.

This course is promoted by the Official College of Veterinarians of Barcelona and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (COVB), and features a teaching team of experts in clinical practice, regulations, and animal welfare. You will receive up-to-date content, a practical approach, and a comprehensive perspective adapted to the realities of professional practice.

Training with us ensures effective, evidence-based intervention aligned with the latest legal and scientific standards in animal protection.
