Microcredential in Accessible Design: Digital Layout and UX/UIon the Web

This micro-credential begins with an overview of web accessibility standards and the WCAG guidelines for creating and evaluating accessible web environments. It will also show the basic principles that a design system has to comply with for the design of accessible websites, mobile applications and other digital experiences. This will be followed by practical sessions to evaluate web accessibility. Finally, the design tools of the Adobe suite (InDesign and Illustrator) will be used - students will have to have their own license - to work on accessible digital design. For this micro-credential we will have the collaboration of the company Tothomweb, an expert in web accessibility. The course is aimed at UX/UI design, web design and communication professionals, as well as experts in other fields who create web content and want to get started in the world of accessibility.
