The concepts of discovery, innovation and creation are often treated as synonyms. Creativity is often regarded as a quality possessed only by certain persons. Psychology sees creativity as a characteristic developed by individuals in accordance with the physical and social context in which they live.

The study of personalities considered by society to be creative shows up the complexity of the creative process and the interaction of variables like motivation and emotion and the cognitive process as a whole (attention, perception, memory and thought), along with the skills that are necessary to put forward new ideas or solutions in spoken, written or non-verbal language, or any other type of communication that constructs the creative/original object, whether the latter is tangible or intangible, as in the case of a musical composition.

The diploma in Psychology of Creativity provides a link between the content of bachelor's degrees and the various professional activities that involve finding new solutions to situations or problems in everyday life, work, science or business.

- Understand the basic principles, methodologies and techniques for personal and work development in a creative manner.

- Develop capacity for design, production and project evaluation.

- Develop capacity to lead groups and/or direct companies.

- Develop cognitive capacities and integrate them in the process of finding original solutions in personal and work life.
