The Diploma of Expert in Urological Robotic Surgery aims to offer updated, structured, and practical training in urological robotic surgery. This course promotes comprehensive surgical education, with a deep focus on developing participants' skills.
The course combines theoretical classes, practical sessions with simulators (dry lab and wet lab), and live surgeries with assistance in the operating rooms of the Puigvert Foundation. This structure allows students to effectively integrate theory and practice.
During the training, students will acquire knowledge in urological robotic surgery procedures regarding surgical indication, patient positioning, placement and coupling of trocars and robotic platforms, and intraoperative and postoperative patient management.
Additionally, detailed step-by-step descriptions of the most relevant urological surgeries performed with robotic platforms will be provided, with the aim of perfecting technical skills in this highly specialized field.
Participants will improve their surgical skills in various urological procedures, with the opportunity to practice through interactive simulations and live surgeries, with the assistance and supervision of expert professionals from the Puigvert Foundation.
