Course in Illustration for Children’s and Teenagers' Publications

Introduction

There can be no doubt that illustration is gaining importance in media publications for children and teenagers: those that refrain from using illustrations are few in number. We know from experience that, without pictures, neither text books, nor children's magazines, nor even children's books can gain a foothold in this highly competitive market.

This course offers all students a chance to explore and develop their own registers and adapt them to the specific characteristics of artwork for children, providing a broad, authentic, unbiased vision of what it means to become a children's illustrator.
