On March 5, the conference "Open Educational Resources: Share to Educate: Conference on Educational Initiatives within the framework of Wikipedia" will take place in the Room of Degrees of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

It is an event organized jointly by the UAB Library Service and Amical Wikimedia within the framework of Open Education Week.
The Open Education Week (which you can follow in the #OEWeek networks) is a global initiative that aims to raise awareness about the advantages of implementing resources and Open educational practices.
It is integrated into the Open Education Global program that works in order to expand access to education, improve its quality, make it more affordable and promote student access.
The Open Education Resources (OER) derived from this movement are based on the recognition of the authority and the public domain or and open license that allows access, use, adaptation and redistribution without any cost, restrictions or limitations.
