Prevention and Integral Safety and Security collaborates in the European EHEAII project to promote tools and training in Artificial Intelligence at universities

The project, coordinated by Turiba University, aims to adapt European higher education institutions to the era of artificial intelligence, ensuring that innovation is linked to ethics, excellence, and a people-centered learning model.

Prevenció i Seguretat Integral – Escola FUAB Formació is participating in the European project EHEAII – Empowering Higher Education through Artificial Intelligence Integration, an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership that aims to strengthen higher education through the responsible and effective integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Coordinated by Turiba University (Latvia) and involving five European universities, the project provides practical tools, ethical guidelines, and training resources to help higher education institutions adapt to the opportunities and challenges of AI.

Over its three-year duration (2025–2028), the consortium will produce an AI Usage Report, develop an Interactive AI Maturity Test, create Risk Mitigation Guidelines, and compile Best Practice Teaching Materials. Additionally, it will design an Online Course for Teachers supported by a Trainer’s Handbook, promoting the ethical and pedagogical use of AI in education.

The project’s ultimate goal is to prepare European universities for the AI era — ensuring that innovation goes hand in hand with ethics, quality, and human-centred learning.
