Burns and chronic wounds are one of the greatest challenges in today's healthcare.
They are frequent injuries, highly complex and with a profound impact on the quality of life of patients. For this reason, nursing professionals today play a key role in their prevention, assessment and treatment.
At all levels of care - from primary care to hospital - nurses encounter patients every day who need specialized care. Having up-to-date knowledge and advanced skills in this area not only improves clinical outcomes, but also makes the professional a reference in their unit or center.

Theoretical classes are held on Fridays, not holidays, from 9 am to 6 pm from October to June (except for the non-school periods of Christmas and Easter).
Clinical care practices will be scheduled between January and June, from Monday to Thursday.

Internships
UAB masters and graduate diplomas may include or facilitate external academic internships in companies or institutions in order to help the student to achieve a level of expertise that facilitates the insertion or promotion in the workplace.
For this study programme non-curricular (optional) internships are possible:
