Calendar and fees
Foundation Year is a nine-month programme. The Spanish language course is taught from September 2024 and 2025 and the Academic Skills course in June 2025. Student join the programme at two different times according to their level of Spanish:
- Students with no knowledge of Spanish join in September 2024 (enrolment in Spring 2024)
- Students who have achieved a minimum level A2 (or who have level B1 from a test carried out by UAB Idiomes Barcelona) join in January 2025.
The total cost of the programme is €8,900 (if the student completes the entire 9-month programme). If the student already has a basic level of Spanish (minimum A2 achieved), he/she can join the programme in January 2025, the cost in this case will be €6,500 (6 months programme).

Fees payment policy
Payment is made in Euros and must be 100% fulfilled before the programme begins. Payment is made by bank transfer. Bank charges for transfer are payable by the student. The fees vary according to the country and/or bank. Students should check with their bank that payment cover the full amount of the fees plus any bank charges. Any outstanding bank charges will later be charged to the student.
