Expert in Peace education, Conflict transformation, and Community Work for Global Justice

This Expert Diploma aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools to transform conflicts, promote peace education activities, strengthen community fabric, and foster nonviolent action in educational, social, and community settings in both the global North and the global South.

Career opportunities

Course aimed at training professionals in education (teachers, leisure education, informal education) and the community sphere (community work associations and entities, municipal community service services), in key concepts and strategies for educating for peace and global justice, through caring for coexistence, constructive conflict transformation and community participation and in social projects.

Course aimed at training professionals, journalists, social communicators, politicians, technicians of NGOs and intergovernmental organizations, activists, human rights defenders and all those people interested in understanding the international situation with a view to peace and contributing to the construction of peace.

Internships

UAB masters and graduate diplomas may include or facilitate external academic internships in companies or institutions in order to help the student to achieve a level of expertise that facilitates the insertion or promotion in the workplace.

For this study programme non-curricular (optional) internships are possible:

• Non-curricular
  As a UAB student, you have access to the University occupation portal, the Occupability Service, through which you can participate in selection processes for non-curricular practices as well as getting a contract. In both cases, you need to sign up to the Nexus application.
