Master description

The programme has three parts: The compulsory module (15 ECTS), the optional modules (30 ECTS) and the master's dissertation (15 ECTS).

There are three optional specialisations:
  • Communication Structure and Policies: Governments and communication. Business and finance conglomerates: Regulation and organisation of the media. Economics of communication.
  • Communication Sciences and Knowledge Society: covering the theoretical and methodological fundamentals of communication sciences. Principal challenges in research. Methodologies, semiotic analysis and sociology of communication. Information and knowledge society.
  • Cyberjournalism, Technology and Languages: Digital innovation in the media: formats, genres, platforms. Cyberjournalism and information society. Architecture of social participation through new media. New languages of journalism.
