Ideal student profile
The Master's degree is addressed to university graduates from the field of History, Archaeology and Classical Studies interested in acquiring the training needed to become highly qualified researchers in Prehistory, Antiquity or the Middle Ages. This programme is therefore aimed at those with an interest in historical and archaeological research and for professionals working in the fields of recovery, management and dissemination of historical and archaeological heritages. You must have a capacity for innovation, organisation, time management, communication, and for interdisciplinary and team work.

Choose and apply the most efficient methods and techniques at each stage of the historical or archaeological research being conducted.

Define, design, plan and draw up an original unpublished research project on history or archaeology, following the established academic and scientific parameters.

Discuss and compare scientific opinions and issues in open academic debate.

Correctly present historical research results orally or in writing.

Use the auxiliary philological sciences in the approach to textual sources related to specific periods and issues in ancient and medieval history.
