  • Have a critical understanding of the contribution of education to the processes of economic and social development.
  • Analyse the complex relationship between the phenomena of globalisation, education policy and international development.
  • Understand the multidimensional impact of globalisation processes on educational change.
  • Acquire the theoretical and methodological knowledge that is required to analyse the implementation of education policies and their impact on the quality and equality of education systems.
  • Acquire basic knowledge of software tools for quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

  • Identify and interpret trends in current education policies and assess their utility in specific settings.
  • Select the most suitable theoretical framework for the educational contexts and problems that students plan to analyse.
  • Apply the acquired methodological knowledge to data collection in different educational settings.
  • Apply the most suitable quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques for the study of education policies and their impact.
