This double degree offers you as a psychology professional the ability to increase your knowledge and skills in the criminological field from a comprehensive point of view, not only from forensic advice. In addition, as a criminology professional, an understanding of human behaviour is essential to understand the phenomena of violent behavior and intervention with offenders and victims, not only from the criminal side, but also from a psychological one.
The possibility of obtaining both degrees simultaneously responds to the learning needs and adaptation to future challenges of criminology and psychology students. This double degree, therefore, aims to add training synergies of degrees that complement each other from a professional point of view, and that share a part of human behaviour as a fundamental and transversal axis.
These studies can be complemented with the university master's degree in Legal and Forensic Psychology or the interuniversity master's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice System.
Career options
In terms of employability, this double degree responds to the growing demand for professionals specialised in intervention in cases of violence and risk, especially in the areas of violence against children, intervention with families at risk, sexual violence, gender-based violence and harassment, etc.
