This program is designed to provide all the tools and experience needed to become a professional canine instructor, addressing current demands and the diverse environments in which working dog capabilities are applied in society, in a world that increasingly requires trained canine professionals.
Students will immerse themselves in all aspects of working dog training, allowing them to learn from prestigious instructors.
This program offers a large number of practical sessions so that students can confidently and decisively face the challenges required by their future profession.
The course takes into account the various aspects necessary to lay the foundations of different fields of work, ensuring that future instructors have multiple professional career options.
Aimed at:
Dog trainers and canine behavior specialists, assistants in dog adoption centers, kennel assistants, dog boarding facility assistants, and assistants in dog breeding centers. Training specialization includes: assistance dogs, guide dogs, service dogs, signal dogs, alert dogs, and dogs for people with autism spectrum disorders.

Contents

The program offers specialized content in all those areas of competence of a professional who wishes to dedicate himself to specialized dog training, as well as the training of dog trainers and instructors and the application of specific training techniques in different environments and their areas of application.
The course in specialized dog training with a total of 10 ECTS lasts one year. The program is distributed in two modules. subject I, theoretical and online, of 5 ECTS credits and subject II, practical and in-person, of 5 ECTS credits.

Subject I: Introduction to specialized canine units.

Subject II: Practicum – instruction and practice of the work of canine units.
