Science Carriage Expert's Seat: Let's talk about renewable energies
Description:
Cristina Madrid is researcher at the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB). Her research focuses on the evaluation of sustainability of political strategies and technological investigations. The UAB Science Carriage Expert's Seat will serve to talk with train passengers on the alternative energy sources available and the advantages and challenges in implementing these new energies.

Science Carriage Expert's Seat: talks about what to do with discarded clothing
Description:
Gemma Morell holds a degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the Elisava Faculty of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, and a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmetal, Economic and Social Sustainability. Her research is centred on the environmental evaluation and quantification of the recirculation processes of used textile and the need to rethink consumption in this industry.

Science Carriage Expert's Seat: Let's talk about regenerative agriculture and high altitude lands
Description:
Sara Marañón holds a PhD in Ecology and her research focuses on the effects of global change and the disturbances caused to ecosystems. At the UAB Science Carriage Expert's Seat, she will converse with passengers on regenerative agriculture, which aims to replenish the soil and guarantee that it has enough organic material and carbon to help it continue to be fertile land. Regenerative agriculture is based on the basic pillars of agriculture: soil and its quality, and how this relates to its capacity to store or release CO2.
