According to the “Rankings ISSUE 2015 (Indicadores Sintéticos del Siste- ma Universitario Español)”, published by Fundación BBVA and Ivie, the UAB is leader in research in Spain.

UAB at the Education and Futura Fairs
The UAB will be presenting new programmes and the rest of its academic offer for the 2015/16 academic year at the Education Show and the Futura Fair.
UAB pays homage to demographer Anna Cabré
On 12 March, as part of the International Women's Day events at the UAB Theatre Hall, the UAB paid homage to Anna Cabré, professor in geography and founder of the UAB Centre for Demographic Studies.
Women's Week at SAF
In commemoration of International Women's Day, the UAB Physical Activity Service (SAF) opens its doors from 2 to 8 March with the aim of fostering different types of sports among women. Men will also be able to take advantage of the offer if they are accompanied by one or more women.
UAB's DDD leads the ranking of Spanish university repositories
The Ranking Web of Repositories conducted by the CSIC Cybermetrics Lab, positions the UAB Digital Repository of Documents as the leading repository among Spanish universities.
UAB Radio began broadcasting on 13 February
UAB Radio began broadcasting at 12 noon on 13 February, coinciding with World Radio Day. The first emission included the participation of Ferran Sancho and Antoni Bassas and was available on the 100.3 FM dial and at www.uab.cat/campusmedia/.
UAB to offer information session on Fulbright grants
On Wednesday 18 February at 11:30 am the auditorium of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts will play host to an information session on the Fulbright Grants offered to university graduates so that they can enrol in a postgraduate course in US universities.
UAB Radio to begin emissions on 13 February
On 13 February, coinciding with World Radio Day, UAB Radio will begin to broadcast at 12 noon. The first emission will include the participation of Ferran Sancho, Josep Maria Català and Antoni Bassas and will be available at www.uab.cat/campusmedia/ and on the 100.3 FM dial.
International Students Welcome Days at UAB
From 9 to 14 February the UAB will host its International Students Welcome Days for the second term with a long list of activities to help new students become familiar with the campus: exhibits, screenings, workshops and conferences.
