UAB among the top 100 worldwide in eight disciplines
The UAB ranks 23 worldwide in the field of Veterinary Medicine and is among the top 100 universities in seven other disciplines according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

UAB celebrates Sant Jordi
The UAB will celebrate Sant Jordi with cultural, ludic and solidarity activities from 20 to 23 April. Activities will include performances, feminist poetry, awards, a solidarity lunch and the proclamation of the UAB Hereu and Pubilla.

Master's and Postgraduate Fair at the UAB
Starting on 8 April, the UAB campus will host the 6th Master's and Postgraduate Fair, an event in which all students interested in enrolling in a postgraduate course can learn about options for their academic and professional future.
Health and Sustainability Week
Health and Sustainability Week will be held from 13 to 17 April. Walks, races, basketball tournaments, zumba, relaxation workshops, cooking and laughter therapy, fairs and a traditional arrossada are just some of the activities.
UAB services available from 30 March to 6 April
The UAB will be closing all its centres from 30 March to 6 April. Some services, however, will be available.
Tatsuo Itoh, Timothy J. Kehoe and Francisco J. Ayala, UAB's newest honorary doctors
The UAB Governing Council accepted the proposal for three new honorary doctors: engineer Tatsuo Itoh, economist Timothy Jerome Kehoe and biologist Francisco José Ayala.
Nobel Economist Finn Kydland to visit the UAB
Professor Kydland, 2004 Nobel Laureate in Economics, will offer a conference on “Mortgages and Monetary Policy” as part of the first MOVE Barcelona Macroeconomics Workshop, which will be held on Friday 20 March.
