LAS MIGRAS: Activistas feministas descoloniales y antirracistas de Abya Yala en Barcelona

Cover

This research is an anti-genealogy based on the narratives of 20 decolonial and anti-racist feminist activists from Abya Yala who migrated to Barcelona. This thesis seeks to critically analyze the political practices and the feelthinkings of counter-hagemonic, situated and experiential knowledge about the feminist, decolonial and anti-racist activism of Migras. To address this objective, elements of decolonial feminist critical discourse analysis and feminist autoethnography were used. The thesis is divided into three sections of results, the first is related to the emergence and strengthening of decolonial feminism of Abya Yala in Barcelona, ¿¿the second with an approach to the experiences of the last 5 years of the Migras within the feminist movement and of the anti-racist in Barcelona, ¿¿and finally, an autoethnography of the disagreement that encompasses my own experience as one of the Migras. From these experiential knowledge of these activists, various reflections arise about the place that the anti-racist and anti-colonial perspective occupies inside and outside the feminist movement, a call is established for the recognition, not only of a colonial history and its respective symbolic-historical responsibilities, but also, and above all, of the current existence of a colonial matrix that continues to operate biopolitically on our minds, bodies and spirits, and the relevance of continuing to jointly socialize this type of critical knowledge with the hegemonic order. Likewise, a critique of identity politics and the consequences it has brought for social movements in Barcelona today is addressed.
